Alicia Walter
A New York-based composer, vocalist, and performer with a powerhouse voice and an eclectic pop style, Alicia Walter was the founder and frontwoman of beloved Chicago art rock band Oshwa before striking out on her own in 2016 and relocating to N.Y.C. Employing a dizzying array of styles, from jazz, funk, and hip-hop to American standards, rock, and pop, she released her debut album, the triumphant and life-affirming I Am Alicia, in 2021 on Sooper Records.
