Order

A punishing death/black metal outfit based out of Oslo, Norway, Order has ties to a host of Scandinavian and European extreme metal institutions, including Mayhem, Cadaver, Celtic Frost, Satyricon, and Gluecifer. The group was founded in 2013 by Manheim and Messiah (both ex-Mayhem), and Anders Odden and René Jansen (both ex-Cadaver). In 2014, Gluecifer bassist Stu Manx took over for Jansen, who passed away that year after battling Leukemia. Pledging "to restore order and celebrate Pure Fucking Armageddon for all," the band issued their debut long-player, Lex Amentiae, via Listenable Records in 2017.
