Minru
The solo project of Swedish singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist Caroline Blomqvist, Minru makes atmospherically textured folk and pop. Following the 2019 EP Yearnings, Minru released the 2022 full-length Liminality.
Hailing from Gothenburg, Blomqvist became interested in music from a young age, learning how to play guitar. As a teen, she played in various bands before moving to Berlin. There, she toured professionally with several groups and began crafting the songs that would lead to Minru. An EP, Yearnings, arrived in 2019. In 2022, she returned with a full-length, Liminality, which found her further expanding her sound.
