Social Club Misfits

Christian rap duo Social Club Misfits trade hard-hitting, faith-filled verses atop contemporary hip-hop production. Debuting with 2012's Misfits EP, they issued a handful of efforts -- including 2014's Misfits 2, their first to land on the Billboard 200 -- before signing to the majors in 2016. Their label debut, The Misfit Generation, incorporated melodic vocal elements and became one of their highest charting efforts to date. The Misfits continued their prolific run with yearly releases, carrying them into a new decade with 2020's Feared by Hell and 2025's Summer of George 2. Miami-bred rappers Martymar and F.E.R.N. debuted their project in 2012 with the free download album Misfits. A Misfits EP also landed in 2012, and the EP Rejects appeared in 2013, along with another free album, The Summer of George. They climbed into the Top Ten of Billboard's rap chart with their first commercially released album, 2014's Misfits 2, and they reached number nine on the same chart with their 2015 effort, Us. Also that year, the duo made their individual solo debuts with F.E.R.N.'s 68 Douglas EP and Martymar's Marty for President EP. In 2016, they signed to major-label Capitol and released the Misfit Generation EP along with the single "Courage." They followed with their fifth LP, 2017's The Misadventures of Fern & Marty, which entered the rap chart at number four and rose to number two on the Christian chart. Before the end of the year, the duo issued the singles "Dive" and "Say Goodbye," which appeared on their 2018 release, Into the Night. Social Club Misfits returned in early 2019 with the single "Everytime" from Mood//Doom (a combination of the Mood. and Doom. EPs, released that year). They inaugurated the 2020s with Feared by Hell. 2022's assured Everyone Loves a Comeback Story included features from Jordan Feliz, Jon Keith, DJ Laz, and Torey D'Shaun, while 2024's Misfits 10 YEARS saw the duo deliver a deluxe edition of their 2014 release with bonus cuts. Later that year, Social Club Misfits started a new album cycle with the release of the K-Anthony collaboration "Holy," set to appear on Summer of George 2 in 2025.
