Sindicato Argentino Del Hip Hop

A Latin rap group from Argentina, Sindicato Argentino del Hip Hop was formed in 1992 by 12 local musicians, making their debut on the first Argentinean hip-hop compilation, Nacion Hip Hop, which featured "Del Barrio" and "Pide Mas." Soon, they were participating in MTV Lingo along with Control Machete and Illya Kuryaki and the Valderramas, among other similar artists. In 1999, Sindicato Argentino del Hip Hop became a five-piece act, recording 2000's Un Paso A La Eternidad, which featured a rap version of the Los Abuelos de la Nada classic "Mil Horas." A year later, Smoler, Derek, Frost, Huexo, and DJ Fabry were nominated for a Latin Grammy award for Best Rap/Hip Hop album.
