Nektunez

Nektunez, who also goes by the artist pseudonym Noble, was born in Ghana in the early 1990s. Today, the artist is regarded as an absolute figurehead in the electro, Afrobeat and Afrotrap scene. Nektunez began to take an interest in music as a teenager, but initially concentrated more on producing music before coming to the fore as a singer himself. His first hit single "Good Vibes" (feat. Camidoh) in 2020 was followed by the EP Just Woke Up in the same year. Nektunez, who now lives and works in Atlanta, USA, is also considered a gifted multi-instrumentalist who is particularly proficient on African percussion instruments. Over time, his unique style has even been picked up by megastars such as David Guetta, Bon Iver and Kanye West. in 2021, the single "Waiting" was created alongside Kojo Manuel and Kelvin Boy. "Ameno Amapiano", another track released in 2022, continues to combine classic Afrobeat elements with a modern production paradigm, dance elements and devotional choral singing.
