Kitadani Hiroshi

Hiroshi Kitadani is a Japanese singer best known for performing the theme songs for various anime series. He was born on August 24, 1968, in Susa, Yamaguchi. He became interested in the performing arts at an early age and kicked off his professional singing career in 1994 as part of the music trio Stagger. The band soon released an album through Warner Music Japan, after which Hiroshi Kitadani went solo and released a self-titled album in 1999. This album featured the widely recognized opening theme for the anime series One Piece, "We Are!" Later that year, he joined Lapis Lazuli, with whom he released a mini-album. In 2003, Hiroshi Kitadani's profile significantly rose when he became a member of Ichirou Mizuki's JAM Project. His studio recording debut with them was the single "Nageki no Rozario." Over time, he achieved global fame, especially after JAM Project's first world tour. Hiroshi Kitadani released his full studio album, R-New, in 2008, with collaborations from JAM Project bandmate, Masami Okui. His following album, Real, came out in 2012. He has also collaborated with artists like Aki Misato, forming groups like SV Tribe. Some of his standout singles include "We Are!" (1999), "We Go!" (2011), and "We Can!" (2016). In 2023, Hiroshi Kitadani added to his discography with the acclaimed single "Bokura no Spectra," which peaked at Number 32 on the Oricon charts.
