Hospital Bombers
Dutch indie rock outfit Hospital Bombers took its name (as well as the title of its debut album) from a 2002 Mountain Goats song called "Best Ever Death Metal Band in Denton." Based in Amsterdam, the quartet was formed around the talents of guitarist Jan Schenk, violinist/vocalist Susanne Linssen, bass player Remco Mooijekind, and drummer Marc van der Holst. The band released its debut EP, Satan's Fingers in 2006, followed by Footnotes, its full-length debut for Netherlands-based indie rock label Excelsior in 2008.
