Fernando Burbano

Fernando Burbano (born in 1975, in Nariño and raised partly in Ecuador) broke into Colombia’s música popular scene in the early 1990s, blending ranchera, bolero, corrido, and vals influences into his heartfelt vocal style. His 1993 compilation Ayer y Hoy showcased early favorites like “Doble Dosis de Licor” and “Tu Pasaje al Olvido,” while his self-titled album Entre el Amor y el Trago in 2019 reaffirmed his ability to craft sentimental melodies rooted in regional tradition. In 2024, he released two notable studio projects—Con Alma de Artista and Romántico y Sentimental—alongside a slew of singles including “Tu Tramposo Corazón,” “Ahora Me Toca a Mí,” and “Mi Amigo el Aguardiente,” all of which highlighted his enduring appeal as a crooner of love and nostalgia. In 2025 he returned with the single “Juntos por Siempre,” following up earlier releases like “Digan Lo Que Digan” and a ballad version of “A Escondidas,” cementing his status as a resilient voice who continues to evolve while honoring the musical roots that defined his career.
