Craig Peyton
Vibraphonist/percussionist Craig Peyton specializes in a style of new age music that includes flutes and reeds merged with exotic world rhythms and jazz. Peyton got his start as a member of the new age outfit Latitude, appearing on such releases as 1986's self-titled release, 1992's 40 Degrees North and Latitude One, plus 1996's Blue Curve. But Peyton quickly began doing double duty as a solo artist, issuing such titles as Emotional Velocity, Songs From Home, Tropical Escape, and The Web during the same time (almost all of Peyton's solo albums have been released on his own independent record label, Earthflight).
