Vyces
Los Angeles-based rock outfit Vyces explore the dark side of human emotions with heavy sonics akin to Breaking Benjamin, Shinedown, Chevelle, and Three Days Grace. Formed in 2014, Vyces began when vocalist Dave Naruszewicz (ex-Heart Set Self Destruct) reached out to drummer Russell Ray (ex-Old Fashioned Beatdown) to start a new project. Between their homes in Los Angeles and Chicago, they exchanged ideas and later recruited Shawn Patterson (ex-Old Fashioned Beatdown) on guitar to form the initial Vyces trio. Bassist Mark James Klepaski (ex-Breaking Benjamin) and vocalist/keyboardist Evan Seidlitz (ex-Thrown into Exile) joined to round out the lineup. Influenced by David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Slipknot, and Pantera, the quintet issued early singles "The Hive" and "Devil" in 2016. Both tracks appeared on their debut EP, Devils, which landed the same year. In 2017, they released "Nocturnal" and toured with the likes of Never Say Die and Message from Sylvia. The following year, they issued the single "Thin Luck."
