The ACB's

The good-natured, British Invasion-influenced indie pop combo the ACBs formed in Kansas City, Missouri in 2006. Initially made up of chief songwriter/vocalist/guitarist Konnor Ervin, guitarist Matt Saladino, bassist Bryan McGuire, and drummer Corey Egan, the band debuted on record in 2007 with a self-titled release. The band spent three years working on its next album, even shelving an entire batch of finished recordings because the sound wasn't right. Egan and Saladino left the band in 2010, to be replaced by guitarist Andrew Connor (of the band Ghosty) and drummer Kyle Rausch (formerly of the Abracadabras). Fortunately, the band found good working arrangements with producer Mike Nolte at More Famouser Studios in Kansas and finished a second album, which had a sound they liked. Stona Rosa was released in 2011, with one of the songs, "Be Professional," featured on the MTV show The Inbetweeners and others featured on prominent blogs. The band found the process of recording its third album a little easier, working again with Nolte, this time at Westend Studios in Kansas City. Little Leaves was released in early 2013 by High Dive Records.
