Supernova

Chilean journalist and ex-Christianes, Shogun, and Venus producer Cristián Heyne met Latin pop band Glup!'s Koko Stambuk, from the southern city of Osorno, in 1997. Inspired by the growing popularity of teen pop in the contemporary music scene, they started a production team named Packman. After emerging behind the Chilean teen sensation Stereo 3, Packman assembled a female threesome called Supernova. Originally consisting of Cony Lewis, Elisa Montes, and Chica Edwards (aka Chi-K), the group disbanded after climbing local charts with "Maldito Amor." Newcomers Koni (born Constanza Lüer), Claudia (born Claudia González), and Sabina (born Sabina Odone) debuted with the release of the Latin Grammy-nominated Retráctate.
