Sean Button
Aussie rocker Sean Button merges melodic hard rock, post-punk, and reflective songwriter fare into his post-millennium songs. A singer and six-string specialist, he released his eponymous debut EP in 2019.
Spending parts of his youth in Cairns, Gladstone, and Kingaroy as well as Brisbane, Button played in a number of bands in the late 1980s and throughout the 1990s, including original and cover bands. After some time away from professional music, he began working as a commercial pilot in the mid-2000s and found that related stays in Los Angeles rekindled his passion for music. He attended performances including G Flip's first show in the city, various record-release concerts, and brushed shoulders with major-label execs at events on his stays. Inspired to record solo music in his home studio, he played all the instruments but drums on his self-produced debut EP, Sean Button. It arrived on Six Stringer Music in 2019. He followed it up with songs including 2020's "It's Alright" and "Where I've Been."
