Owen Campbell
Australia's Owen Campbell is a guitarist and singer/songwriter known for his blues-oriented slide guitar style and rootsy compositions. A native of Canberra, Campbell became interested in music at a young age, and first began playing guitar after receiving one as a gift around age nine. By the time he was in his early twenties, he was an accomplished performer and spent several years busking and traveling around the world. In 2011 he released his debut album, Sunshine Road. The following year he gained an even wider audience by competing in the sixth season of the televised vocal contest Australia's Got Talent. Although he ultimately failed to make it to the show's grand finale, he left the competition a fan favorite. Following his time on Australia's Got Talent, Campbell released his sophomore full-length album, Pilgrim. The EP Songs for Syria appeared in 2014. In 2016 he delivered his third full-length album, Breathing Bullets.
