Latchow
Prior to his Latchow project, Régis Mussieliki made his name with the group La Fuenté. Formed in Libreville in 1995, along with Styve and Eric et Simple, before the latter retired, the Gabonese musician made his debut with a mix of gospel, R'n'B and rap. The duo scored a number of popular hits, including "Mes pleurs" (2005), "Questions de feeling" (2005) and "Dans mon pays " (2005), but broke up in 2012, prompting Latchow to embark on a solo project. He inaugurated it in 2012 with the song "1000 gos", an R'n'B produced by Pharrel'da Music that immediately caused a sensation. However, his career was marked by several pauses, punctuated here and there by tracks hailed by the public ("L'amour ne va jamais changer" (2015) or "Tout ce que je veux" (2018)). When he unveiled "Le bangando" (2019), produced by Psyko and released on Amenem's Dynastie label, he resurfaced with a popular success that exceeded one million listens. His hit singles earned him the title of "hit maker", which he has continued to honor over the years, notably with "Libérez" (2021), about the coronavirus pandemic, and "Ma petite cochonne" (2022).
