Josep Cabré
Baritone Josep Cabré has appeared as a soloist in numerous performances and recordings of Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque music. In 1992, he founded La Compañía Musical, an ensemble dedicated to the performance of early Spanish and Latin American music. In addition to Cabré (baritone and director), this ensemble consists of Anne-Catherine Bucher (harpsichord), Ivette González (soprano), Fernando Sanchez (bassoonist), and Hugh Sandilands (laudista and guitarist). Cabré is also a founding member of the vocal quartet La Colombina and musical director of the Peñaflorida Chapel, where he regularly performs Spanish music from the sixteenth, seventeenth, and eighteenth centuries.
