Hotel Ugly

Hotel Ugly is an American indie pop group formed in Houston, Texas, by brothers Chris and Mike Fiscella. They emerged on the scene in 2020 with the single "Shut Up My Mom's Calling," a catchy R&B-tinged track that went viral on social media shortly after and ended up accruing millions of streams across platforms. The Fiscella brothers continued to raise their profile throughout 2021 with singles like "Grandmother," "Piggypink," and "Stevie Wonder," all of which expanded upon the duo's idiosyncratic brand of indie music. After re-releasing their breakthrough single "Shut Up My Mom's Calling" along with a sped-up version, the track managed to enter Canada's Billboard Hot 100 at Number 100 in 2022. Later that year, Hotel Ugly returned with the single "The Mannequin Song."
