Enno Cheng

Born in Yilan County, Taiwan, on March 19, 1987, Enno Cheng (Chinese: 鄭宜農; pinyin: Zhèng Yínóng) is a Taiwanese indie singer-songwriter and film actor. She cut her entertainment teeth in the film world, appearing in the 2007 Taiwanese film directed by Cheng Wen-tang, Summer's Tail, where she played the main character Yvette Chang and received a nomination for the Best New Performer award at the 44th Golden Horse Awards. Her debut album, Neptune (海王星) was released by White Wabbit Records in July 2011, with a second album, Pluto, coming five years later. In 2016, Enno Cheng finalized her divorce from Fire EX lead singer Sam Yang, and the same year came out as a lesbian. Her third album, Dear Uranus, arrived in 2019 and in May 2020, she recorded a track for the album T-POP: No Fear In Love, a compilation celebrating the one-year anniversary of the legalization of same-sex marriage in Taiwan. That same month, she also performed remotely to celebrate the inauguration of President Tsai Ing-wen's second term. Enno Cheng, who is also a member of the band Chocolate Tiger (猛虎巧克力), released a new Mandopop album, 给天王星, in 2019 and in 2021 released a new Mandopop single via Fire On Music Co., Ltd.
