Corinne Hermès

Corinne Miller (née Bondeaux, November 16, 1961) is a French singer, mostly known for her victory at the 1983 Eurovision Song Contest. Born and raised in Lagny-sur-Marne, Miller won a singing contest in Roquebrune-sur-Argens in 1974 and made her debut in 1979 with the single “La Ville où je vis.” In 1983, Luxembourgish TV channel RTL chose her to represent the country at the 28th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest with the track “Si la vie est cadeau,” which won the competition by a slim margin of 6 points. It was later released as a single and spent nine weeks in the French Top 10, peaking at Number 4. She followed up with the singles “Vivre à deux” (1983), "Michaël" (1984), and “Dessine-moi” (1989), which entered the French Top 20 and reached Number 2 in French-speaking Belgium. Throughout the 90s, Miller stuck to the single format with “S.O.S.” (1990), “Suffit d’y croire” (1991), and “L’Amour est artiste” (1993), featured on the French drama Les Grandes Marées. Preceded by the singles “S'il n'y avait pas les mots” and “On vit comme on aime,” her studio debut Vraie arrived in 2006, followed by a compilation of her greatest hits in 2012 and 2019’s Intemporelle.
