Big Nothing
Channeling the alt-rock of Superchunk and the emo of the Get Up Kids, Philadelphia's Big Nothing first burst onto the scene in 2017 with the release of their indie punk-inflected eponymous EP on Asian Man Records.
Featuring members of Spraynard, Crybaby, and Young Livers, Pat Graham (vocals, guitar), Matt Quinn (vocals, Guitar), Liz Parsons (vocals, bass), and Chris Jordan (vocals, drums) formed the group in 2017, bringing together the punk and indie pop of their previous bands with the alt-rock and emo of the '90s. Dropping their self-titled EP via Asian Man in 2017, the group made a name for themselves on the road, playing dates with the likes of Timeshares, Katie Ellen, and Swearin'. After putting together a full-length album, the group signed a deal with Salinas Records to release their debut. Chris appeared in May 2019, and the band headed out on tour with labelmates Radiator Hospital.
