Bauchklang
Austrian beatboxing collective Bauchklang formed in 1995. The five-member ensemble mixes a cappella singing and the vocal beatboxing technique to create its unique sound, which is influenced by hip-hop, dance music, and myriad electronic styles. Bauchklang released their debut album, Jamzero, in 2001. That album was a commercial and critical success that earned the band two Amadeus Awards in 2002. Bauchklang then returned with their sophomore album, Many People, in 2005. In 2010, they released the studio album Signs. Two EPs, Le Mans and Ray, followed in 2011 and 2012, respectively. In 2013, Bauchklang delivered the Patrick Pulsinger-produced album Akusmatik.
