Baptiste Trotignon, Nicholas Angelich
Baptiste Trotignon is a French jazz pianist and composer with a distinctively improvising style. His recordings include 'Fluide' (2000), 'Sightseeing' (2001) and 'Solo' (2003). 'Trotignon/El Malek' with saxophonist David El Malek came out in 2005. He recorded 'Flower Power' (2006) with drummer Aldo Romano, 'Fool Time' (2007) with El Malek, 'Dusk Is a Quiet Place' (2013) with Mark Turner, 'Chimichurri' (2016) with percussionist Minino Garay, and 'Ancestral Memories' (2017) with saxophonist Yosvany Terry. His 2020 schedule was to include appearances at Sunset Sunrise Jazz Club in Paris.
