Anti-Mortem

Cutting their teeth on a home-made stage in a barn in Chickasha, Oklahoma, Anti-Mortem are a band breathing new life into the lost art of groove metal. Formed in 2008, members Larado Romo (vocals), Nevada Romo (guitar), Zain Smith (guitar), Corey Henderson (bass), and Levi Dickerson honed their Southern metal-influenced sound in a barn owned by Smith's family, playing shows there as they refined their groove-heavy sound. With their Pantera-esque brand of metal refined and ready to go, the band signed on with Nuclear Blast in 2013, where they released their debut album, New Southern, in mid-2014.
