Returning to his earthy brand of Mexican folk music following several mainstream pop releases, Niña Amada Mía is the 11th studio album from prolific singer/songwriter Alejandro Fernández. The 2003 ranchera-influenced collection of songs, produced by Grammy-winner Pedro Ramírez, includes renditions of songs composed by Armando Manzanero and Jorge Massias, along with the title song, which is also the theme tune for the telenovela of the same name.
