Confidencias is the 24th album (not including compilations) by Alejandro Fernández. In English-speaking countries, the title has been translated to Pillow Talk. Recorded in Los Angeles with the late producer and arranger Phil Ramone, Confidencias has been released in two versions, the standard 11-track set and a deluxe edition with 15 cuts as well as an accompanying DVD. The music is a series of standards that walk the line -- and occasionally blend -- Latin and Spanish traditions. The album's first single is the smash "Hoy Tengo Ganas de Ti," a duet with Christina Aguilera (and the theme song from the telenovela La Tempestad). Two others are also included: "Me Olvidé de Vivir," the first recorded performance of "El Potrillo" with his father, Vicente Fernández, in two decades, and a big-band swing reading of Jimmy Cox's American classic "Nobody Knows You When You're Down and Out," with Rod Stewart. The latter is sung simultaneously in Spanish and English by the pair, with Fernández's part sung live in front of the orchestra from the studio floor. Other highlights include a stellar reading of "Procuro Olvidarte," the Manuel Alejandro and Ana Magdalena tune that was an international smash by Nicaraguan singer Hernaldo Zúñiga in 1980, and Roberto Carlos' "Desahogo."
