Publié en 2020 et succédant à Kids in Love (2017), Golden Hour constitue le troisième album du producteur norvégien Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll, alias Kygo. Moins orienté tropical house que son prédécesseur et clairement taillé pour les festivals, ce nouvel effort propose une collection de 18 nouveaux titres évoluant en territoires lumineux et atmosphériques, portés par un souffle optimiste et un large panel d'invités au micro, de OneRepublic ("Lose Somebody") à Valérie Broussard ("The Truth") en passant par Kim Petras, Oh Wonder, Zara Larsson ou le chanteur country Zac Brown. Imposant de nouveau le DJ dans les charts internationaux, Golden Hour décroche un nouveau numéro un à domicile avec l'aide du hit "Higher Love" invoquant la voix de la regrettée Whitney Houston.
