Go Shiina
Born in Yokohama, Japan on May 16, 1974, Masaru Shiina – better-known as Go Shiina – is a composer and arranger known for his work in the video game industry. The musician, who was taught at a young age to play the electronic organ, began his video game music career in 1997 when he joined Namco. His musical resume includes writing music for games like Tales, Mr. Driller, and God Eater. His work on Tales of Legendia earned him worldwide acclaim. Shiina continued working on video game soundtracks for Ace Combat, Tekken, and The Idolmaster. He also turned his attention to Anime and began supplying the scores for several series and movies including Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. After two decades with Namco (later known as Bandai Namco), Shiina left the company and began working as a freelance composer. He still occasionally works with his old employers, one of the most recent titles being Code Vein (2019).
