Beginning with "Ploy (Strategic Mix)," Maurizio lays down a punishing foundation of straight-ahead, syncopated rhythm, which is driven primarily by a pounding bass beat and a rattling layer of high-hat percussion. An alien-sounding riff then appears and continues to loop throughout the song. The second track, "Eleye," isn't nearly as harsh or extreme, featuring an ambient buzz lingering in the background and strange wind-like swooping sounds. Underground Resistance highlight the AA-side of the record with their rendition of "Ploy"; lasting for several minutes, the UR version has little in common with the original, but it stands as the stronger version of the two with its slower pace and more relaxed feel.
