The enormous success of this album brought salsa to a considerably younger audience. The real hero is composer Omar Alfanno, who brought some of his very best writing to salsa standards like "Amores Como el Nuestro," "Una en un Millón," and the celebrated title tune. "Casi un Hechizo" fares just as well in terms of Rivera's able voice. One of 1992's smash hits, as salsa was being pushed in other directions.
