Martine Chevrier
Born on January 29, 1967 in Terrebonne (Canada), Martine Chevrier is a pop singer from Quebec. In 1983, she released her first single, " Star ", which reached number 8 in the Quebec radio charts. The following year saw the release of her first album, Ensemble, which won her the Félix for revelation of the year at the ADISQ gala. In 1985, she released a self-titled opus, with the song " Jamais plus pareil ", which toured the radio stations. In 1986, she toured Quebec between May and August, and took part in the Festival de Saint-Malo in France. That same year, she played the lead role in the musical Le Temps d'un Rêve . In 1988, Martine Chevrier launched the song " Danser pour danser ", which became a number-one hit on Quebec radio stations. In 1989, she won the Félix for Female Performer of the Year at the ADISQ gala. She sings in several films, including Aladdin, Mulan, Poucette and the comedy Sacré Robin des Bois . She also does French dubbing in Quebec for Disney films.
