Lilicub
Formed in 1992 by the couple Benoît Carré (brother of actress Isabelle Carré) and Catherine Diran with Philippe Zavriew, the Lilicub trio scored a hit with their debut album and title track "Voyage en Italie", which reached No. 7 in the singles chart in 1996. Nominated at the "Victoires de la musique" awards and awarded a prize by the SACEM, Lilicub continued their on-again, off-again adventure with the next five albums, released between 1998(La Grande Vacance) and 2008(Papa A Fait Mai 68). Their paths eventually diverged. Catherine Diran writes thrillers, Philippe Zavriew works in music publishing (Peermusic) and forms the group Sixty Eight, while Benoît Carré composes and releases the album Célibatorium in 2013.
