Für den dritten Teil seiner Ocean's-Filmserie stellt Regisseur Steven Soderbergh erneut den Komponisten/DJ David Holmes ein, damit er einen weiteren pulsierenden Soundtrack erzeugt, der die mühelos coole Atmosphäre des mit Stars geschmückten Films widerspiegelt und verbessert. Während die vergangenen Ocean-Alben Titel von Holmes neben einer zu berücksichtigenden Liste von Lounge-Songs durch andere Akteure präsentierten, konzentriert sich Ocean's Thirteen mehr auf unkonventionelle durch die '60er und '70er Jahre beeinflusste Klänge des irischen Elektronik-Künstlers. Die herausragenden Stücke von Holmes umfassen das brodelnde, bass-schwere "Benedict Returns" und "Snake Eyes", das fieberhafte Latino-geprägte Rhythmen und wirbelnde Keyboard-Abschnitte entlang segelt. Und als einer der wenigen ausgewählten Titel auf Ocean's Thirteen, die nicht von Holmes sind, bringt Frank Sinatras schwingendes, stringbeladenes "This Town" den Soundtrack – und die Film-Trilogie – zu seinen stolzen Wurzeln in Las Vegas zurück.

Für den dritten Teil seiner Ocean's-Filmserie stellt Regisseur Steven Soderbergh erneut den Komponisten/DJ David Holmes ein, damit er einen weiteren pulsierenden Soundtrack erzeugt, der die mühelos coole Atmosphäre des mit Stars geschmückten Films widerspiegelt und verbessert. Während die vergangenen Ocean-Alben Titel von Holmes neben einer zu berücksichtigenden Liste von Lounge-Songs durch andere Akteure präsentierten, konzentriert sich Ocean's Thirteen mehr auf unkonventionelle durch die '60er und '70er Jahre beeinflusste Klänge des irischen Elektronik-Künstlers. Die herausragenden Stücke von Holmes umfassen das brodelnde, bass-schwere "Benedict Returns" und "Snake Eyes", das fieberhafte Latino-geprägte Rhythmen und wirbelnde Keyboard-Abschnitte entlang segelt. Und als einer der wenigen ausgewählten Titel auf Ocean's Thirteen, die nicht von Holmes sind, bringt Frank Sinatras schwingendes, stringbeladenes "This Town" den Soundtrack – und die Film-Trilogie – zu seinen stolzen Wurzeln in Las Vegas zurück.
