Dots Per Inch
James Hype is a DJ/producer from Liverpool, England whose 2017 single 'More than Friends' became a platinum -selling hit which reached number one in the UK Dance Charts and sold well throughout Europe.
The song was a remake of 'Don't Let Go' which had previously been a hit for the American R&B trio En Vogue. Hype used the highly-respected English vocalist Kelli-Leigh to perform the vocals and the track quickly became a club standard throughout the summer of 2017.
Prior to the success of 'More than Friends' Hype had built a reputation producing remixes for a variety of international artists including Clean Bandit and OJ Genesis.
His follow up single 'No Drama' was released the following year and despite featuring Craig David on vocals the single failed to have the same impact as his debut offering, nonetheless 'No Drama' reached number 24 in the UK charts.
In 2019 Hype released his third single 'I Was Lovin' You' featuring artists Dots Per Inch and Ayak.
