Yu Seung Woo

The lead vocalist with long-running South Korean K-pop purveyors B1A4, Lee Jung-hwan (born March 20, 1992 in Busan, South Korea) – known professionally as Sandeul – debuted as a solo artist for WM Entertainment in 2016. After earning his stripes in various singing contests and with B1A4, Sandeul's first release, the Stay As You Are EP, made an impression on South Korea's Gaon Album Chart, peaking at Number 5. Filled with slow-burning ballads, R&B jams and brighter orchestral pop moments, the EP, which was partly written and composed by Jung-hwan, proved his versatility as a singer and songwriter. The following year, Jung-hwan became the first male idol to be appointed as an honorary ambassador for the presidential election. He spent the next few years immersed in musical collaboration, performing in musicals and working as a late-night radio DJ. In 2019, Jung-hwan released a second EP, One Fine Day, which peaked at Number 9 in South Korea. 2020 marked the release of numerous digital singles; "Smile Box", "Summer Day Summer Night", "Lazy Me", and a remake of Saevom's "Slightly Tipsy", which became his best-charting song to date, peaking at Number 2 on the Gaon Digital Chart and Billboard's K-pop Hot 100 singles chart.
