Spanish Gold

Spanish Gold are a soulful rock trio centered around former Hacienda singer-guitarist Dante Schwebel. Formed in 2013 after Schwebel parted ways with Hacienda, Spanish Gold initially began as a solo project. However, realizing he still wanted to work within a band concept, Schwebel recruited former high school classmate and Grupo Fantasma guitarist Adrian Quesada, as well as My Morning Jacket drummer Patrick Hallahan. The trio then began working up Schwebel's material, recording tracks with producer Collin Dupuis (the Black Keys, Zoos of Berlin, Dr. Dog). In 2014, Spanish Gold released their full-length debut album, South of Nowhere, on BMG/Dine Alone Records.
