Sleeping with Sirens nail their colors to the mast on With Ears to See, and Eyes to Hear, their driving debut album. Running just over 30 minutes, the album offers up a compact and tightly written blast of post-hardcore with boundless energy. Standing out here are the vocals of singer Kellin Quinn, whose soaring tenor not only gives the songs a hopeful, uplifting quality, but shows off a vocal talent that could just as easily be making pop records. Star quality aside, With Ears to See, and Eyes to Hear is an incredibly solid debut from a band showing plenty of promise right out of the gate, and it should hopefully make Sleeping with Sirens a staple of any post-hardcore fan's collection. © Gregory Heaney /TiVo

Booklet
With a sound that manages to be both driving and passionate, Sleeping with Sirens keep their hot streak going with Feel, an album that lives up to its title thanks to the soaring vocals of singer Kellin Quinn. With a frontman whose voice is as comfortable with pop melodies as it is metalcore aggression, Sleeping with Sirens have a powerful weapon in their arsenal that few of their contemporaries can compete with. With more and more bands making the slide toward incorporating pop elements into their sound, it's refreshing to find one that can do it based on genuine vocal talent rather than just shoehorning some synths and dance beats into their sound, making an album like Feel a shining light in an increasingly homogenized post-hardcore landscape. © Gregory Heaney /TiVo
