LadBaby

Mark Ian Hoyle (born on April 12, 1987 in Nottingham, UK) is an English YouTube star, charity campaigner and blogger who goes by the name LadBaby. With his wife Roxanne Hoyle, he released a novelty pop version of Starship's 1985 single "We Built This City" titled "We Built This City (On Sausage Rolls)" in December 2018. It went to the top of the UK Singles Chart, making the couple the first UK YouTubers to grab the coveted Christmas Number one spot. The song also made it onto Australia's ARIA Digital Track Chart and the US Hot Rock Songs chart, reaching Number 31 and Number 47 respectively. Proceeds from the single went to charity The Trussell Trust. LadBaby's 2019 follow-up, "I Love Sausage Rolls" – based on Alan Merrill's "I Love Rock 'n' Roll" – also topped the chart again at Christmas, breaking two records: the couple became the first act to score two consecutive Christmas chart-toppers while also bagging two novelty Christmas chart-toppers. Sticking to their tried and tested sausage roll theme, LadBaby struck again in December 2020 with Christmas single "Don't Stop Me Eatin,'" a parody cover of Journey's "Don't Stop Believin,'" with proceeds also going to The Trussell Trust. The song, which was accompanied by an additional duet version with Ronan Keating, took the Christmas Number one spot, giving LadBaby a festive hat-trick of chart-toppers. For their fourth consecutive Christmas Number one in December 2021, LadBaby joined up with two of the world's biggest popstars, Ed Sheeran and Elton John, for "Sausage Rolls For Everyone," which is based on the Number one Christmas single by Ed Sheeran and Elton John, "Merry Christmas," also released in December 2021.
