johnny yukon

Johnny Yukon is a Los Angeles-based, Philadelphia-bred singer/songwriter and producer who began making waves in 2015 with his beat-heavy urban pop confections on SoundCloud. As his Internet profile increased, he began drawing interest from labels, and he eventually settled on Atlantic. In 2017 Yukon issued a trio of singles that began with the infectious "Laptop," which was co-produced by Drake collaborator Frank Dukes. He followed up that success two months later with "Paper" and "Malibu Feels." Another single, the R&B-, hip-hop-, and dark pop-infused "Lonely," arrived in early 2018 and appeared on that year's Installation I LP. Two years later, he inked a deal with Elektra, resulting in the release of 2021's Flight Plan 001, which featured previously released early faves like "Grow," "Climate," and "Night Like This" alongside several new songs including the hits "Mystery" and "Soon." In 2023, Yukon issued the visuals- and narrative-driven MOVIES! WORLDWIDE, Pt. 1. He continued to explore the connection between music and film on the single "Lights, Camera, Action!" in 2024.
