Bronze Radio Return

Emerging in the late 2000s with a blend of bluesy roots and catchy alternative pop/rock, Bronze Radio Return is helmed by singer/songwriter/guitarist Chris Henderson. With an amiable tone to his soulful rasp, he led the group to the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart with their third album, 2013's Up, On & Over. A native of Belfast, Maine, Henderson formed Bronze Radio Return in Hartford, Connecticut, near West Hartford's Hartt School of Music, in 2007. He recruited fellow alums Matt Warner (keyboards/samples), Dan Travis (bass), and drummer Rob Griffith (drums), rounding out the lineup with lead guitarist Patrick Fetkowitz to begin playing shows around New York and greater New England. Attracting fans and management in the process, they released their self-titled debut EP in March 2008, following it a year later with their first full-length, Old Time Speaker. For their next studio album, the band headed to Norman, Oklahoma, again with producer Chad Copelin (Ben Rector, Ivan & Alyosha). The resulting Shake! Shake! Shake! helped further establish the band's profile, and gave them a number of licensing opportunities in both film and television. The group returned to the East Coast with Copelin for 2013's Up, On & Over, their debut for the Nashville-based DigSin label. It also marked their first appearance on Billboard's Heatseekers chart, reaching number 17. Bronze Radio Return's uplifting fourth album (and fourth with Copelin), Light Me Up, followed on DigSin in 2015. The band self-released Live from Brooklyn and Then Some the following year. The quintet moved to AntiFragile Music for their fifth studio LP, which consisted of the EPs Check One and Check Two alongside four previously unreleased tracks. Titled Entertain You, it arrived in early 2019.
