Icy Narco

Florida rapper Icy Narco drew on the most dangerous and mysterious elements of various musical and cultural influences when putting together his frigid persona and trap sound. An image that included blue dreadlocks and neck tattoos met with songs that saw cold, stuttering flows give way to catchy melodic choruses. Icy Narco released several singles and accumulated a significant cult following before the 2019 release of his debut mixtape Winter Can Be Murder. Icy Narco was born in 1998 and grew up in Miami. Around the end of his teenage years the aspiring rapper posted his own remix of 21 Savage's ubiquitous hit "Bank Account" online and quickly began seeing an increase in his fan base. After working first primarily as a featured artist on other rapper's tracks, he began releasing more of his own songs. He struck big with 2018 singles "LINK" and "Numb & Frozen," both of which racked up millions of streams and brought the rapper to attention of legions of new fans. His sound managed to fall under the rap banner while incorporating pop hooks and a sinister undercurrent into darker rock and metal music. His debut mixtape, Winter Can Be Murder, collected these and other songs in 2019.
