Landing, notably, on the legendary Sun Records, the 15th solo album from the ex-Mott the Hoople frontman features a plethora of guest appearances from rock luminaries including Slash, Jeff Beck, Todd Rundgren, and Jeff Tweedy. The record's genesis lay in a series of COVID-19 demos recorded in Connecticut with Hunter's frequent collaborative partner Andy York. The album's Dylanesque lead single, "Bed of Roses," features Ringo Starr as well as the Heartbreakers' guitarist Mike Campbell.
