Lang Lang and Nikolaus Harnoncourt already knew each other quite well before they recorded Mozart’s two piano concertos for the pianist's new album, The Mozart Album, released at Sony Classical music label. The two first met at Harnoncourt's house in Salzburg back in 2007, when Lang Lang performed Bach’s Goldberg Variations. Since then the unlikely pair have continued to take on various musical projects together, the latest being Mozart’s piano concertos: C minor and G major .
