Brandy Haze
Singer Brandy Haze makes sultry contemporary R&B with trap, house, and electronic dance influences. She first garnered attention with her 2018 Roses EP before gaining wider buzz with 2021's That's Unfortunate. Further EPs followed, like 2022's Where We Left Off.
Hailing from Chino Hills, California, Haze grew up listening to a mix of pop music before discovering '90s R&B in the early 2000s. She began writing songs and eventually relocated to Los Angeles. Collaborating with songwriter/producers Ian Thomas and Leven Kali, she released her debut EP, Roses, in 2018. Two years later, she returned with the Garden Fire EP, featuring the track "Pretend," which earned placements on BET and streaming playlists. More EPs followed in 2021, including Silhouette and That's Unfortunate. Silhouette, Vol. 2 and Where We Left Off appeared in 2022.
