Hartley & Wolfe

Hartley & Wolfe consists of animated vocalist Greg Blackman, who has recorded with Mr. Bird, Feature Cast, and Fuzzbox, Inc., and eclectic veteran producer Vadim Peare, aka DJ Vadim. Prior to releasing their first material as Hartley & Wolfe, the two collaborated on "Akura Uprock," a track on Vadim's 2012 album Don't Be Scared. In November 2013, the duo released Bespoke Future, an album for the BBE label. The whimsical set had certain similarities with left-of-center R&B artists like Sa-Ra, Spacek, and PlantLife with heavier dub and earlier soul inspirations.
