Idioma disponível: inglêsFormed in Halifax in 2011, the quirky indie pop trio Each Other was made up of former members of arty pop bands Long Long Long and York Redoubt, namely guitarist/vocalists Michael Wright and Brad Loughead, and drummer/vocalist Christian Simmons. Their high-pitched harmonies and ever-changing song structures resulted in tunes somewhere between the Beach Boys' summery bliss and the off-kilter pop of contemporaries like Deerhoof or Of Montreal. The band self-released several EPs and internet-only collections before moving to Montreal and working on a debut full-length in their analog home studio. The album, Being Elastic, surfaced in early 2014 on Fat Possum sub-label Lefse Recordings.
