Baby Queen
Idioma disponível: inglêsBorn in South Africa but based in London, Baby Queen (aka Bella Latham) started writing music when she was around ten years old, and she began taking it seriously when she was 16. A move to London two years later saw her working her way into the music industry, writing material inspired by her own experiences of living in the capital. Although it took Latham a few years to find her footing, she inked a deal with Universal to release her music in 2020, with the track "Internet Religion" appearing first. The infectious "BuzzKill" followed, along with her ode to Killing Eve star Jodie Comer, "Want Me." These songs, as well as new material, appeared on her 2020 debut EP, Medicine. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Latham started to record new music that was inspired by her time spent in lockdown. Tracks such as "Dover Beach" and "American Dream" where released through the beginning of 2021 before being collected midyear for her debut mixtape, Yearbook.
