Born in the small Ukrainian village of Kapitanivka in 1991, she went all the way from being a teacher in a kindergarten to becoming one of the biggest stars in her country. Alyona Alyona dropped her very first music video - «Рибки» (‘Little Fish’) – and it went viral instantly, one month later she came back with another track - «Голови» (‘Heads’). After the release of her debut album Пушка (Cannon) (2019), Alyona Alyona was described as ‘Ukraine’s Most Unlikely Star’ by American Vogue and as one of the top-15 most important european artists by New York Times. She performed at the Sziget 2019 music festival in Budapest. That year, Alyona Alyona and Kalush recorded the joint track «Гори» (‘Mountains’) which is now at Top-100 most popular Ukrainian-language music videos. Also, she worked together with Jamala and Alina Pash. In 2021, Alyona Alyona received Public Choice Awards by Music Moves Europe Talent Awards and also released her second studio album Галас (Noise). Alyona Alyona raps about everyday life but it is her sincerity that conquered the hearts of the audience. Her creative work is all about acceptance and tolerance. The rapper chooses current and important topics, breaks stereotypes and prejudice, popularizes Ukrainian music sound in the world.
