A estreia de Harry Styles era a mais aguardada entre a de todos os integrantes do One Direction após o fim do grupo. Ela veio com o disco epônimo lançado em 2017. Contando com uma pequena banda escolhida minuciosamente e com o produtor Jeff Bhasker, Styles entregou um álbum cuja sonoridade se assemelha bastante à ouvida em seu antigo conjunto. São 10 faixas que navegam entre as baladas românticas, o acústico introspectivo, o pop padrão e até o rock clássico e épico. A diferença é que, com Styles no comando de tudo, o foco passou a ser sua voz, o que se justifica plenamente por conta da notória técnica do cantor. Além disso, a autoexploração também fica evidente nas letras do álbum. Entre as principais canções, se destacam aquelas que foram divulgadas como single: "Sign of The Times", "Kiwi", "Sweet Creature" e "Two Ghosts".
