Lançado em 1994 pelas gravadoras Telarc International e Concord, o álbum Dream A Little Dream mostra todo o talento do Gerry Mulligan Quartet, liderado pelo saxofonista de jazz norte-americano Gerry Mulligan. Com 14 faixas, o disco produzido por John Snyder conta com os músicos Ted Rosenthal (piano), Dean Johnson (baixo) e Ron Vincent (bateria) completando o quarteto. No álbum, o grupo revisita clássicos como “My Funny Valentine”, “Georgia On My Mind” e a faixa-título “Dream A Little Dream”, popularizada na voz de Mama Cass. Além dessas, o quarteto também interpreta composições do próprio Mulligan, como “The Real Thing”, que nesse disco ganha sua primeira versão instrumental.
